If you are a pro and have your own way of making Pad Thai, then skip it. But if you would like to know how our Family makes Pad Thai, here is a
few no-recipe suggestions.
Ingredients: This is a recommendation making for 2 servings.
- Dry rice noodles (thin or thick as you prefer)
- 1 cup of water
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 2 eggs
- 4 cloves of chopped garlic
- 1 bag of beansprout
- shrimp and vegetables (optional)
- fish sauce (more if desired)
- chili powder (more if desired)
For the toppings
- 3 tbsp chopped green onion
- 2 tbsp chopped peanut (more if desired)
- 1 lime
Instructions
• In a bowl soak dry rice noodles in water for 15-30 minutes
• In a wok or large pan lightly sear shrimp & set aside
• Add beaten egg stirring to fry quickly & and set aside
• Heat medium-low, add oil & heat garlic till fragrant
• Add snow peas/vegetables & stir fry lightly (optional)
• Add drained noodles into the pan stirring with med-high heat
• Add 1 cup of water to steam noodles till tender
• Add Lanna Table Pad Sauce from the bottle to taste
• When sauce simmers add back shrimp and egg
• Stir fry until shrimp are cooked and bean sprouts for just a few minutes
• Add optional garnishes and serve.
